Apple Picking Festival – September 10, 2011
9:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.
Blue Ridge HOST will be hosting an Apple Pickin’ Festival with Crafters, Vendors, and Music at their new Visitor’s Center in Fancy Gap Virginia. Apples will be available on site or you can choose to pick your own at nearby orchard.
Music Entertainment will include:
Tina Blankenship 10:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M.
Bluegrass and Gospel. Bo Hacker 11:00 A.M. – 12:00 Noon
Gospel, Bluegrass, and Country. Sugarloaf Mountain Band – 12:00 Noon – 2:00 P.M.
Gospel / Old Time Music. Aaron Bozewell – Country 2:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M.
Located just south of the Blue Ridge Parkway is a hidden treasure trove of rolling farm land with endless varieties of tree bearing fruit. Fresh peaches and apples are picked at it peak of ripeness for the best possible flavor.
